Puzi Tiangong Temple held a press conference today to announce that 6 art floats will accompany the Mazu palanquin procession during Mazu's birthday celebration this year, and rich gifts will be distributed. These gifts were jointly purchased by friends, relatives, and corporate businesses mobilized by Huang Ying-chun, an independent legislator from Chiayi County, and include 10 55-inch TVs, 10 43-inch TVs, and 10 iPads.
Lin Bomin, chairman of Puzi Tiangong Temple, told the media that small gifts and gashapon will be scattered during the art floats parade, and exchange vouchers for TVs and iPads will be inside the gashapon. Winning participants can redeem their prizes at Tiangong Temple with their vouchers.
