Central News Agency (Reporter Hsu Chih-wei, Taipei, 7th) National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) announced today that all 17 of its departments and institutes participated in the evaluation by the Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET) and successfully passed the accreditation. Among them, 11 bachelor''s programs further obtained the EUR-ACE® Label, a European engineering education quality accreditation, and all received the longest 6-year accreditation. This demonstrates that NTUT''s engineering education quality has aligned with international standards. NTUT stated in a press release today that the EUR-ACE® Label is awarded by ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education) and is an important accreditation mark for European engineering education quality. Obtaining the EUR-ACE® Label signifies that the educational quality of the degree program meets European engineering education standards, making graduates more internationally recognized when seeking employment in Europe, applying for professional engineering qualifications, or pursuing further studies. In addition, the Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET) became an authorized institution for the EUR-ACE® Label in 2025. Bachelor''s programs and their graduates accredited by IEET are also recognized by relevant EU countries, symbolizing the alignment of Taiwan''s engineering education with European engineering education. NTUT completed the on-site evaluation for IEET engineering education accreditation for 17 teaching units in December 2025 and was notified in March this year that all had passed. Among these, 11 bachelor''s programs further obtained the EUR-ACE® Label, all with the longest 6-year accreditation, valid from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2031. NTUT stated that obtaining the EUR-ACE® Label is not only an important achievement of the university''s long-term dedication to engineering education quality but also helps enhance students'' international mobility and global career competitiveness. In the future, NTUT will continue to promote more departments and institutes to participate in IEET accreditation and EUR-ACE® Label applications, deepening its alignment with the international engineering education system and enhancing the international visibility of NTUT''s engineering education.
