(Central News Agency reporter Dai Yazhen, Tokyo, 7th) In the case of an 11-year-old boy's death in Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture, police re-arrested the stepfather, Yuki Adachi, on the 6th on suspicion of murder. According to his confession, he drove the boy to school that day but did not let him out. Instead, he entered a public toilet on the way home, where he impulsively killed the boy after an argument. Subsequently, he moved the body four times within a week and claimed that both the murder and disposal of the body were done alone.

Sankei Shimbun and Mainichi Shimbun reported that the police stated that Yuki Adachi, 37, had previously been arrested on suspicion of abandoning a body, but prosecutors temporarily withheld disposition. As the investigation progressed, police analyzed mobile phone location information, travel routes, and his confession, concluding that he was suspected of killing the boy in a public toilet in Nantan City on the morning of March 23rd, thus re-arresting him on murder charges.

According to sources involved in the investigation, Adachi confessed that on the day of the incident, he drove the boy near the school but did not let him out. Instead, he turned back and committed the crime in a public toilet about 2 kilometers northwest of his home on the way back.

He stated that he had an argument with the boy in the car and felt angry, so he impulsively killed him in the public toilet. Police believe that the two may have had a long-standing strained relationship and are currently investigating the detailed motive for the crime.

The reports indicated that the police stated the boy's body was found on April 13th in a mountain forest about 7 kilometers from his home. Adachi confessed that within about a week after the crime, he moved the body between four locations, including the mountain forest where it was finally found, and claimed that "both the murder and disposal of the body were done by myself alone."

Although the initial judicial autopsy could not clearly determine the cause of death, subsequent forensic results showed that the boy's cause of death was asphyxiation. (Editor: Chang Chih-hsuan) 1150507
