(Central News Agency reporter Hung Hsueh-kuang, Kaohsiung, 7th) To enhance public anti-fraud awareness, the Kaohsiung Xiaogang Police Precinct is launching a limited-edition "Detective Vest Eco-bag" lottery campaign, combining creative promotion with social media interaction. The campaign highlights "carrying it out is the trendiest anti-fraud statement," integrating anti-fraud concepts into daily life.

The Kaohsiung City Police Department Xiaogang Precinct today issued a press release stating that recently, "fake friendship combined with investment" fraud cases have continued to increase. Fraud groups build trust through long-term relationship cultivation and use AI deepfake technology to create a realistic identity, inducing victims to mistakenly believe it is an online romance, and then guiding them to click on unknown links or invest funds, resulting in financial losses.

The Xiaogang Precinct stated that the limited-edition "Detective Vest Eco-bag" lottery campaign combines creative promotion with social media interaction, highlighting "carrying it out is the trendiest anti-fraud statement," integrating anti-fraud concepts into daily life to strengthen public anti-fraud capabilities. Citizens only need to complete the three steps of "like, comment, and share" on the Facebook event page by June 15th to participate in the lottery. There is a chance to win one of 6 limited eco-bags. The campaign also promotes the important concepts of "do not click on unknown links, and do not discuss money in online relationships."

The police remind that any online dating involving money transactions or investment invitations should raise vigilance; if asked to click on links or operate accounts, it is highly likely to be a fraud method. If citizens have questions, they can call the 165 anti-fraud hotline for verification to protect their property safety. (Editor: Li Heng-shan) 1150507
