InnoVEX Countdown: Nearly 500 Startups Participating, Largest Scale Ever

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) announced today that this year''s exhibition, themed ''AI Together,'' will focus on the practical implementation and commercialization of AI technology. Nearly 500 startup teams from 22 countries will participate, an 11% increase from last year, setting a new record for the largest scale ever. InnoVEX, organized by TAITRA, is the startup exhibition area under COMPUTEX 2026. TAITRA stated in a press release today that in addition to expanding its scale, this year''s InnoVEX will further strengthen international connections and technological focus. It will feature 9 national pavilions, including France, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Israel, Canada, Italy, and the Czech Republic, creating an international platform for startup exchange. TAITRA stated that this year''s exhibition will focus on three major areas: ''AI and Computing,'' ''Robotics and Smart Mobility,'' and ''Next-Generation Technology,'' showcasing the latest global industry layouts in AI applications and cutting-edge technologies. TAITRA pointed out that with the practical implementation of AI as the main theme this year, a forum will be held on June 3rd at the Center Stage, inviting several international industry and policy figures to share their experiences in AI adoption and trends in industry cooperation. Among them, Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Regional Council, will personally lead a semiconductor and quantum computing team to share the development roadmap of Europe''s AI infrastructure. In addition, the forum will also explore the open-source ecosystem and AI business models. Representatives from Apache Software and the Linux Foundation will share how open-source technologies can evolve into sustainable business models, while experts from Canva and LinkedIn will analyze how AI is changing workflows and data applications from the perspectives of the creative industry and the B2B (Business-to-Business) market. TAITRA noted that the InnoVEX Pitch Contest will be held concurrently during the exhibition.
