(Central News Agency reporter Chung Jung-feng, Taipei 7th) Transmission component giant Hiwin announced its self-consolidated revenue for April this afternoon at NT$2.474 billion, a month-on-month increase of 4.96% and a year-on-year increase of 20.69%, continuing to hit a new high since October 2022. The cumulative self-consolidated revenue for the first four months of this year reached NT$8.853 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.23%, making it the third highest in the same period in history.

Looking ahead to this year's growth momentum, Hiwin previously stated that the group continues to be optimistic about demand from semiconductor, artificial intelligence (AI) automation, and robotics applications. The situation for some non-standard products is recovering, and it is expected that this year's revenue and profit targets will continue to grow. Q2 operations are expected to be better than Q1 and also grow compared to the same period in 2025.

Pneumatic component manufacturer Airtac-KY also announced its self-consolidated revenue for April this afternoon at NT$4.342 billion, a month-on-month increase of 4.89% and a year-on-year increase of 25.23%, setting a new monthly high. The cumulative self-consolidated revenue for the first four months of this year reached NT$14.356 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.15%, also setting a new record.

Airtac-KY explained that although there were fewer working days in April compared to March and the same period last year, revenue and order intake still reached historical highs. In addition to benefiting from the market demand being in an upward cycle, Airtac-KY continues to enhance its brand image and develop new products, increasing its market share and growth momentum. In April, there were better shipments in industries such as batteries, electronics, machine tools, general machinery, and textile machinery.

Looking ahead to future operations, Airtac-KY pointed out that the order intake in April continued to exceed shipments, and both order intake and shipments continued to be better than the company's expectations. The amount of orders received but not yet shipped at the end of April again reached a historical high, implying that shipment performance in May should be good.

Airtac-KY stated that recent geopolitical influences on raw material cost changes are still within the company's control. The group has increased sales prices in overseas markets, continuously improved internal production efficiency, and optimized its product sales mix. It is expected that the operating profit margin in Q2 will continue to increase.

This year is the first year of China's "15th Five-Year Plan." Airtac-KY expects that the Chinese government's 15th Five-Year Plan will help pneumatic market demand, and maintains an optimistic view on the demand for the pneumatic industry and the company's overall development this year.

Airtac-KY previously expected that its pneumatic component revenue growth rate this year could exceed 10%, outperforming the industry average growth rate. This year, performance in applications such as electronic equipment, batteries, automotive, and lighting energy is expected to grow. (Editor: Yang Kai-hsiang) 1150507
