(Central News Agency reporter Chung Jung-feng, Taipei, 7th) Foxconn has made another stride in its European electric vehicle business, announcing today a strategic partnership with ElectroMobility Poland S.A. (EMP), a Polish state-owned electric vehicle company, to accelerate the development of clean energy mobility solutions in Europe.

Foxconn stated in a press release this evening that Foxconn, together with its subsidiary Foxtron Vehicle Technologies, will jointly evaluate the possibility of establishing an electric vehicle manufacturing and R&D center in Poland.

Jun Seki, Foxconn Group's Chief Strategy Officer for Electric Vehicles, stated that Foxconn has long been committed to accelerating the development of electrified mobility through open platforms, scalable manufacturing, and deep technological cooperation. Foxconn is pleased to partner with EMP to share its EV platform, complete vehicle development experience, and engineering capabilities, jointly building an AI-integrated manufacturing base.

Seki added that Foxconn will also work with Foxtron to deepen local R&D capabilities, strengthen the supply chain system, and more efficiently serve the European market.

Cyprian Gronkiewicz, CEO of ElectroMobility Poland, stated that EMP's original intention was to find a partner with both industrial scale and technological depth as its core goal. He said that Foxconn fully meets these conditions, especially in manufacturing capabilities, as well as in developing digital solutions and safety, which are indispensable for the future of the automotive industry and will continue to be key to maintaining competitiveness.

Foxconn explained that the strategic partnership between the two parties is being conducted with the joint participation of the Polish Ministry of State Assets and other agencies involved in this project. The content covers the scope of future cooperation and will be further developed into a complete plan. The final cooperation content will depend on the progress of negotiations between all parties, the signing of contracts, and must comply with relevant regulatory requirements.

According to data, EMP is a core driver for upgrading the electric vehicle industry ecosystem in Poland and surrounding regions, supporting and promoting innovative projects and enterprises that shape future mobility, covering zero emissions, intelligence, and integration with new energy systems, thereby strengthening the competitiveness, resilience, and autonomy of Poland's and Europe's new mobility industry.
