(Central News Agency reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei, 7th) Eclat Textile, the king of textile stocks, today announced its Q1 financial report. Revenue reached NT$9.621 billion, a 2.63% year-on-year increase and a 3.8% quarter-on-quarter increase; net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$1.834 billion, a 16% quarter-on-quarter increase and a 9.2% year-on-year increase, marking the third highest in history, with earnings per share of NT$6.69 for the single quarter.

In terms of profitability, Eclat Textile's Q1 gross profit margin was 32.17%, a 1.98 percentage point increase quarter-on-quarter and a 1.97 percentage point increase year-on-year, reaching a new high in nearly six quarters; Eclat Textile's Q1 operating profit margin also returned to above 20% at 22.8%.

Eclat Textile CFO Lin Fen-ju stated today that both Q1 revenue and profit showed "double growth year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter," mainly benefiting from optimized product mix and growth in high-margin orders. With the fading impact of US tariffs and the upcoming major sporting events like the World Cup, which are expected to drive demand for functional apparel, the company is optimistic about maintaining growth momentum in Q2.

Regarding the surge in international oil prices caused by the US-Iran conflict, which has led to tight supply and price increases for downstream chemical fiber raw materials, Lin Fen-ju stated that Eclat Textile has no problem with raw material supply in Q2. As for Q3, Eclat Textile continues to monitor market changes and has sought diversified raw material supply channels to cope.

Lin Fen-ju stated that Eclat Textile's order visibility is clear. To meet customer needs, Eclat Textile's Phase 3 factory construction project in Indonesia is ongoing. Recently, contracts have been signed with relevant manufacturers, and environmental assessments are underway. The preliminary work is almost complete, with construction expected to start in June or July, targeting production capacity to come online in Q4 2027, which is expected to bring new growth momentum to the company's operations.

Lin Fen-ju stated that in response to the development of AI technology, the Eclat Textile team specifically visited relevant manufacturers for inspection. The new Phase 3 factory in Indonesia will be built as an AI chemical factory for the first time, introducing AI technology to improve production and management efficiency.
