(Central News Agency reporter Chao Min-ya, Taipei, 7th) CYBERSEC 2026 Taiwan Cybersecurity Conference concluded today. The Digital Industry Agency of the Ministry of Digital Affairs stated that the Taiwan Cybersecurity Pavilion achieved fruitful results. In addition to successfully connecting with international channel networks through the "Asia Cybersecurity Channel Summit," it also released the "Taiwan Cybersecurity Defense Matrix," which can help enterprises systematically identify defense gaps and strengthen their risk visualization capabilities.

CYBERSEC 2026 Taiwan Cybersecurity Conference was held from the 5th to the 7th. The Digital Industry Agency focused on building a cybersecurity trust chain as its main theme for the exhibition, setting up the Taiwan Cybersecurity Pavilion, which gathered 59 domestic independent R&D companies, showcasing the strong capabilities of Taiwan's cybersecurity industry.

The Digital Industry Agency stated in a press release that Taiwan's ICT and semiconductor industries are global hubs, and due to long-term exposure to high-intensity cyberattacks, it possesses first-line practical experience. To help cybersecurity vendors precisely connect with global channels, the "Asia Cybersecurity Channel Summit" was held, inviting 30 international cybersecurity channel providers to conduct nearly 100 one-on-one matching sessions with 40 Taiwanese companies. In addition, European channel providers from the Netherlands, France, and other countries were also invited to participate, assisting vendors in deepening their international layout.

The Digital Industry Agency stated that on the last day of the exhibition, it released the "Taiwan Cybersecurity Defense Matrix," which combines the Cybersecurity Defense Matrix (CDM) framework and the cybersecurity capability registration mechanism. This can help enterprises systematically identify defense gaps, strengthen risk visualization capabilities, and establish a common language across departments, which helps decision-makers accurately grasp the strategic direction of cybersecurity investments and plan ahead.

The Digital Industry Agency pointed out that at this press conference, it joined forces with representatives from cross-industry associations such as the Information Service Industry Association of R.O.C., Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association, Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association, Taiwan Association of Intelligent Automation and Robotics, Taiwan Smart Connected Health Care Association, and Taiwan Security Equipment and Services Industry Association, demonstrating the determination of industry, government, academia, and research to jointly build a cybersecurity defense network.

The Digital Industry Agency stated that the Taiwan Cybersecurity Pavilion serves as a display stage for domestic cybersecurity brands, gathering Taiwan's independent technological capabilities, from threat detection and cloud security to industrial control system protection, demonstrating high technological resilience. In the future, it will continue to guide policies and invest resources to promote the deep rooting of cybersecurity capabilities in the industrial chain and lead Taiwan's cybersecurity industry to connect with the international market, becoming the most trusted digital partner in the global supply chain.
