(Central News Agency Reporter Cao Ya-yan, New Taipei 7th) Danjiang Bridge will officially open on the 12th. The New Taipei City Department of Transportation announced that to avoid the intertwining of large vehicles and tourist traffic affecting traffic, heavy trucks over 15 tons will be prohibited from passing between 12 PM and 9 PM on holidays. Drivers are asked to detour via Guandu Bridge to cross the Tamsui River.

The New Taipei City Department of Transportation issued a press release today, stating that Danjiang Bridge will officially open on the 12th. Considering the large number of people and vehicles around Fisherman's Wharf during holidays, heavy trucks over 15 tons are prohibited from driving on Zhongzheng Road Section 2, Lane 51, and from passing through Danjiang Bridge between 12 PM and 9 PM on holidays. Heavy truck drivers must detour via Guandu Bridge to cross the Tamsui River in advance.

The Department of Transportation stated that during holiday control periods, heavy trucks over 15 tons traveling from Sanzhi to Bali should detour via Provincial Highway 2 and Provincial Highway 2B, connecting to Provincial Highway 15 via Guandu Bridge. Vehicles traveling on Provincial Highway 61 should exit at the "Bali 2" or "Bali 3" ramps, detour to Provincial Highway 15, and pass through Guandu Bridge. Vehicles traveling on Provincial Highway 64 should also exit at the "Wugu 1" ramp, connect to Longmi Road via Chengtail Road, then go onto Guandu Bridge, and then turn onto Provincial Highway 2B and Provincial Highway 2 towards Sanzhi. Clear guidance signs have been installed at major road sections and nodes.

In addition, two new YouBike stations will be added near Danjiang Bridge: the "Tamsui Transfer Station" will open on the 8th, and the "Danjiang Bridge Management Center" station will open on the 12th, allowing the public to easily connect Tamsui and Bali by YouBike.
