FamilyMart stated that its private brand beverages emphasize fewer additives, achieving revenue of NT$3 billion last year. It is optimistic about fruit tea sales performing better in summer than in winter, and is launching new additive-free fruit tea products starting today. President Chain Store, on the other hand, is focusing on functional drinks, juices, and co-branded beverages with famous stores to seize the summer refreshment business opportunities.

FamilyMart announced today via a press release that its private brand FamiCollection beverages have seen continuous growth in performance since 2020, achieving NT$3 billion in revenue last year. With fewer additives and Clean Label certification (free of artificial chemical synthetic flavors, artificial chemical synthetic sweeteners, preservatives, etc.) as the core of product development, nearly 50 types of beverages have been successively launched.

As summer approaches, it is also the peak season for convenience store beverage sales. FamilyMart observed that summer fruit tea sales grow by more than 30% compared to winter, and sales of chewy beverages also significantly increase in summer. Furthermore, consumer demand has gradually shifted towards health consciousness in recent years. Starting today, it is launching new 100% additive-free and dual Clean Label certified fruit tea products, fully aiming to capture the summer healthy beverage market.

President Chain Store stated that to seize the summer business opportunities, in addition to launching functional foods and beverages such as oat drinks and protein milk, it has also developed various blended juices emphasizing organic and natural health.
