(Central News Agency reporter Tsai Chih-chih, Chiayi County, 7th) The Chiayi County Government has partnered with travel agencies to launch 13 summer family railway tours. These tours feature rides on the Fusen Hao and Xuyue Hao special carriages, pulled by century-old steam locomotives, connecting Alishan, Zhaoping, and Zhushan stations and attractions. Online sales began today.

The Chiayi County Government held a press conference today to promote the 'Chiayi Family Railway Tour,' inviting the Tsou tribe's 'Kuluma Cultural and Creative Studio' to perform traditional songs and showcasing various peripheral products and station commemorative stamps related to the Alishan Forest Railway. County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang, Deputy Director Wei Yu-hsuan of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency's Chiayi Branch, and Lion Travel Service Co., Ltd. Deputy General Manager Fang Chih-hsiung attended.

Weng Chang-liang transformed into a marketing professional today, promoting the features of the summer family railway tours. He stated that parents must be wondering where to take their children for summer fun, and the county government has prepared it for everyone: come to Alishan to ride the small train, and the itinerary allows you to experience the beauty of ecology, culture, and history all at once.

Weng Chang-liang pointed out that the 13 tours cover different routes ranging from 2 to 4 days, connecting classic stations like Alishan, Zhaoping, and Zhushan, as well as local attractions. Online sales began today, and the first 1,000 successful registrants will receive a 'Dragon Fruit Rice Brick' and a 'Limited Edition Fusen Hao or Xuyue Hao Train Commemorative Magnet.'

Fang Chih-hsiung stated that Alishan's railway, forests, and sea of clouds are well worth promoting to the world, hoping that people can go up the mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery, and that the Fusen Hao and Xuyue Hao can only be ridden in Chiayi.

In addition, the Chiayi County Cultural and Tourism Bureau is promoting Alishan railway tours by specially designing a 'Little Railway Fan Electronic Stamp Rally' event. From June 1st to August 31st, by joining the 'Slow Travel Chiayi' LINE official account, participants can collect digital stamps at 17 stations along the forest railway. Completing 3 stamps will earn an electronic certificate, and the first 1,000 can also apply for a physical certificate to keep as a souvenir. This year, a hidden 'Shizilu Station physical stamp' has been added, allowing children to experience the fun of stamping by hand in addition to digital stamping.

The Cultural and Tourism Bureau stated that this year, they are also collaborating with the Alishan Ecotourism Association to launch 3 summer-limited 'Shizilu Station Parent-Child Guided Tours.' Led by local professional artisans, parents and children will visit Shizilu Station, experience hand-washing Aiyu jelly, take photos with the Fusen Hao special train, and enjoy lunch boxes, learning about railway culture and the mountain town's charm from different perspectives. Online registration opens at 12:00 PM on June 1st (https://forms.gle/rYiDkbmGxYmyN9aa8). (Editor: Chang Ya-ching) 1150507 1150507
