(Central News Agency reporter Lin Chang-hsing, Taipei, 7th) Airlea Clinic's New Taipei Banqiao branch was recently found to have pinhole cameras hidden in smoke detectors. On the 5th, the Taipei City Government conducted unannounced joint inspections at its four branches in Taipei City. The Taipei District Prosecutors Office initiated an investigation. After coordination between the Taipei and New Taipei Prosecutors Offices, the case has been consolidated and will be handled by the New Taipei Prosecutors Office.

Airlea Clinic's New Taipei Banqiao branch was found to have suspected pinhole cameras hidden in smoke detectors. Yesterday, New Taipei prosecutors and police brought in eight individuals, including CEO Chang Ru-shan. After an overnight review by the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office prosecutor, detention and solitary confinement were sought for Chang Ru-shan, Assistant Manager Zhang, and vendor Xie, on charges including illegal sexual video recording.

The Taipei City Department of Health, on the 5th, also joined with the Taipei City Criminal Investigation Division and consumer protection officers to conduct unannounced joint inspections at branches of the Airlea Group's chain brand in Taipei City (Zhongshan, Xinyi, Daan, and Zhongzheng districts), in accordance with the Medical Act and Taipei City Public Places Pinhole Photography Prevention and Management Regulations.

The Taipei City Criminal Investigation Division had previously reported the case to the Taipei District Prosecutors Office for direction, and the Taipei Prosecutors Office opened a 'he-tzu' case for investigation. As the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office had already commenced search and interrogation operations and sought detention and solitary confinement for Chang Ru-shan, after coordination between the Taipei and New Taipei Prosecutors Offices, the case has been consolidated and will be handled by the New Taipei Prosecutors Office.
