Of these, 7 additional quotas are for the National Security Special Examination and 33 for the Immigration Special Examination, to meet the operational needs of the employing agencies.

The Examination Yuan explained through a press release that the original announced recruitment quota for these two examinations was 194. Due to the continued demand for personnel from the employing agencies, the National Security Bureau and the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior, after re-reporting vacancies by the Ministry of Civil Service and the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, an additional 40 recruitment quotas have been approved, including 7 for the National Security Special Examination and 33 for the Immigration Special Examination (18 for Third Grade, 15 for Fourth Grade).

The Examination Yuan stated that, including the originally announced recruitment quotas, the total recruitment for these two examinations is 234, with 37 for the National Security Special Examination and 197 for the Immigration Special Examination (7 for Second Grade, 141 for Third Grade, 49 for Fourth Grade).

The Examination Yuan stated that the first written examination for these two examinations is scheduled to be held from June 13 to 14.
