(Central News Agency reporter Chung Jung-feng, Taipei 6th) Electrical machinery giant TECO today announced its self-consolidated revenue for April reached NT$5.626 billion, an increase of 9.7% month-on-month and 13.55% year-on-year, setting the second-highest monthly record, only surpassed by NT$5.662 billion in December 2025. Cumulative self-consolidated revenue for the first four months of this year was NT$19.825 billion, an annual increase of 6.27%.
TECO Chairman Lim Ming-hsien previously stated that in the next 3 to 5 years, there will be an endless supply of business for AI data center engineering equipment, and the TECO Group aims for group revenue to reach NT$100 billion within the next 2 to 3 years, with significant growth expected from data centers and energy-saving and carbon reduction related projects.
In response to the trend of AI data center construction, TECO has established a dedicated AI Data Center Business Unit under its Power & Energy Business Group. TECO explained that currently, the AI Data Center Business Unit accounts for about 30% of the Power & Energy Business Group's performance, and this proportion can increase to 50% to 60% in the future. Driven by the AI Data Center Business, the revenue of the Power & Energy Business Group will surpass that of the Electromechanical Business Group. (Editor: Lin Chia-hsien) 1150506
