The Tainan City Fire Bureau held an inauguration ceremony today at the plaza in front of the Fifth Rescue and Emergency Medical Service Brigade, presided over by Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che. The new vehicle will be assigned to the Fuxing Sub-station of the Fifth Brigade, covering the densely populated Yongkang District and East District.
Huang Wei-che stated in his speech that the 52-meter aerial ladder fire truck activated today cost NT$36.5 million, making it the highest operating height fire vehicle in Tainan City. It is also the fifth aerial ladder truck approved for purchase during his tenure.
