Unexpectedly, a conflict erupted, and the man surnamed Lee was cut on his left carotid artery by the suspect with a glass bottle. He was pronounced dead after being sent to the hospital. The police have taken the suspect Lee back to the precinct for questioning to clarify the motive and process of the crime.

Preliminary police investigation found that the victim, Mr. Lee (56 years old), learned that the suspect Mr. Lee (58 years old) was dining at a restaurant on Peide Road last night. Around 8 PM, he went to the restaurant with a friend, Mr. Yang, intending to collect the outstanding debt from the suspect. Unexpectedly, during the negotiation, an argument broke out between the two parties, escalating into a physical confrontation.

During the incident, the suspect Mr. Lee used a glass bottle to cut the victim Mr. Lee's left carotid artery, causing Mr. Lee to bleed profusely on the spot. Paramedics arrived at the scene after receiving the report and urgently transported Mr. Lee to Keelung Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, for emergency treatment. However, due to severe injuries, he was pronounced dead around 9 PM last night. The police sealed off the scene for evidence collection, where bloodstains were visible on the stairs, and seized related evidence such as glass bottle fragments.

The suspect Mr. Lee also sustained minor injuries during the conflict and was found to be in stable condition after receiving treatment at Keelung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The police are currently bringing the suspect Mr. Lee back to the precinct for questioning on suspicion of murder, and have also notified relevant parties present at the scene to provide statements to clarify the detailed course of events.
