New Taipei Shulin Car Accident: Private Car Collides with 8 Vehicles, 6 Injured and Hospitalized

Central News Agency (Reporter Huang Hsu-Sheng, New Taipei, 6th) — At approximately 7:30 AM in Guanqian Road, Shulin District, New Taipei City, a private car, for unknown reasons, collided with two oncoming private cars and six motorcycles, causing a total of 6 injuries. Among them, 3 suffered serious injuries and 3 sustained minor injuries. The New Taipei City Fire Department stated that they have all been sent to the hospital for treatment.

The Fire Department reported that a traffic accident rescue operation occurred on Guanqian Road, Shulin District, near the Shanjia Motorcycle Practice Field. The scene involved one private car, for unknown reasons, colliding with two oncoming private cars and six motorcycles. No one was trapped. A total of 6 patients were injured. Preliminary assessment by fire and ambulance personnel indicated 3 serious injuries and 3 minor injuries, who were then sent to Sanxia En Chu Kong Hospital and Tucheng Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.
