May Taiwan Stock Index Futures Rise 469 Points

(Central News Agency Taipei 6th) The Taipei stock market today closed up 369.56 points at 41138.85 points. May TAIEX futures closed at 41503 points, up 469 points, with a positive basis of 364.15 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the nearest two-month index futures contracts as: May futures at 41034 points, and June futures at 41128 points.

The Taiwan stock market today closed up 369.56 points, at 41138.85 points, with a transaction value of NT$1.449148 trillion.

May TAIEX futures closed at 41503 points, up 469 points, with 83,249 contracts traded; June futures closed at 41625 points, up 497 points, with 1,136 contracts traded. Actual closing prices are subject to the announcement of the Futures Exchange. 1150506
