(Central News Agency reporter Chang Chien-chung, Hsinchu 6th) Chang Yuan-hsun, General Manager of silicon intellectual property (IP) firm M31, stated today that although the first quarter's operational performance was not as expected, mainly due to delays in customer projects, the operational outlook for this year remains optimistic. The full-year revenue growth target remains unchanged, expected to reach double-digit growth.

M31 held an online institutional investor conference to explain its first-quarter operational results. First-quarter revenue was NT$395 million, a decrease of 27.5% from the previous quarter, with a net loss after tax of NT$49.25 million, and a loss per share of NT$1.18.

Chang Yuan-hsun said that the first quarter's performance was not as expected, mainly due to delays in customer projects. Observing the April revenue rebound to NT$169 million, a year-on-year increase of 30.74%, the company's growth momentum has gradually recovered. The operational outlook for this year remains optimistic, and the revenue growth target remains unchanged, expected to achieve double-digit growth.

Chang Yuan-hsun stated that the demand from Chinese IC design customers is diverse, and business progress this year is expected to be better than anticipated. North American IC design customers may advance to the A14 advanced process this year, and the first collaboration project with a North American foundry will commence in the second quarter.
