(Central News Agency reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei 6th) King Slide, a major server slide rail manufacturer, today announced its Q1 financial report. Q1 revenue reached NT$5.449 billion, a 10.1% increase from the previous quarter and a 37.8% increase year-on-year. Net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$3.485 billion, a 0.8% decrease from the previous quarter but a 38.7% increase year-on-year. Earnings per share (EPS) for the single quarter reached NT$36.58, the second highest in history.

King Slide's Q1 gross profit margin was as high as 77.74%, an increase of 1.64 percentage points from the previous quarter and 1.69 percentage points year-on-year, surpassing Q2 last year's 77.5% and setting a new historical high.

King Slide spokesperson Wang Chun-chiang previously stated that the AI industry continues to develop positively, and major cloud service providers (CSPs) are all accelerating computing power. After two years of rapid operational growth, King Slide's operations this year are similarly "difficult to be small."

Wang Chun-chiang predicted at the time that Q1 operations would be somewhat affected by fewer working days, but operations this year are expected to show quarter-on-quarter growth. King Slide will hold an investor conference on the 7th, where further explanations on industry prospects and operational outlook are expected.
