(Central News Agency, Taipei 6th) Ho-Yi Biotech Co., Ltd. announced today that its topical cream Bonvadis has obtained marketing approval for medical devices with full wound indication from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (ThaiFDA). Ho-Yi stated that upon market launch and sale, it will pay royalties to the licensor according to the licensing agreement within the specified period.
Ho-Yi stated that it received notification from its registration agent that the topical cream Bonvadis has obtained marketing approval for medical devices with full wound indication from the Thai Food and Drug Administration, with marketing approval certificate number 69-2-2-2-0004267, permitting its sale in Thailand.
Ho-Yi pointed out that according to statistics from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Thailand has approximately 6.36 million diabetic patients, with an annual wound care burden exceeding 700 million US dollars.
Ho-Yi explained that its global commercialization strategy for wound care products adopts a dual-channel entry approach for pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
