(Central News Agency reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei 6th) Chunghwa Precision Test Tech, a major server chassis manufacturer, today announced April revenue of NT$2.06 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, but a decrease of 17.6% from March. Compared to the individual revenue growth rates of at least 40% in the first three months of this year, the growth rate has significantly converged.

Chunghwa Precision Test Tech explained that the decline in April revenue was mainly due to the transition period between new and old projects. The company is actively optimizing production capacity deployment and material preparation to accumulate growth momentum for subsequent shipment peaks.

Chunghwa Precision Test Tech stated that benefited from the soaring demand for end-use AI applications, which has fully driven the boom in data center hardware construction, revenue has maintained strong growth since the beginning of this year. Accumulated revenue for the first four months of this year was NT$9.17 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 49.7%.

Looking ahead, Chunghwa Precision Test Tech stated that the demand for construction driven by AI remains clear. Recently, four major North American cloud service providers (CSPs) including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta, released their latest financial reports, further raising their capital expenditure forecasts for this year, confirming the long-term development trend of AI infrastructure. Chunghwa Precision Test Tech is expected to benefit from this.

In response to the strong market demand and international geopolitical variables, Chunghwa Precision Test Tech is accelerating its localization strategy for manufacturing and operations. Its new NCT (New Product Introduction and Prototyping) plant in the United States officially commenced operations in mid-March. The mass production base in Malaysia is expected to gradually come online this year. Coupled with the continuously under-construction mass production plant in the United States, these are expected to contribute to future operational growth. (Edited by: Lin Chia-hsien) 1150506
