(Central News Agency Dubai, 5th, comprehensive foreign report) After the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was subjected to intensive missile and drone attacks from Iran, the General Civil Aviation Authority issued an air navigation circular announcing that the UAE's airspace would be restricted to only a few approved routes. This measure will continue until at least May 11, and an emergency security protocol has been activated.

Reuters reported that just two days prior, the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) had lifted all precautionary airspace control measures, announcing that national air traffic had returned to normal.

The UAE stated on the 4th that its air defense systems were intercepting missiles and drones from Iran, forcing multiple flights to divert to Muscat, the capital of Oman, or to circle over Saudi Arabia.

The air navigation circular noted that "parts of the UAE Flight Information Region (FIR) are closed" and added that flights entering and exiting the UAE are only permitted through specific entry and exit points.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran on the 4th for once again attacking the country's civilian facilities and targets with missiles and drones.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a communiqué that this attack was a "dangerous escalation" and an "unacceptable violation," directly threatening the UAE's national security, stability, and territorial integrity, and violating international law and the UN Charter.
