US-Iran War Key News
(Central News Agency, Abu Dhabi, 5th, Comprehensive Foreign Report) The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates announced today that its air defense systems are dealing with Iranian missile and drone attacks. Subsequently, Iran's military operations command stated that the Iranian armed forces have not carried out any missile or drone attacks against the UAE recently.
Reuters could not independently verify the claims of both sides.
Iran's military operations command, "Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters," also warned that if the UAE takes any action against Iran, it will face a "devastating response."
This is the second consecutive day that the UAE has claimed to be under attack; the Middle East situation has been relatively calm for nearly four weeks after the United States announced a ceasefire with Iran.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement pointing out that these attacks constitute a serious escalation of the situation and pose a direct threat to national security, emphasizing that the UAE reserves its "full and legitimate right" to respond to this matter.
The UAE stated last night that its air defense forces were dealing with missile and drone threats, and firefighters were extinguishing a large fire caused by a drone attack in a major oil industry park, which authorities attributed to Iran. (Compiler: Hong Qi-yuan) 1150506
