(Central News Agency, London, 5th, comprehensive foreign report) European stock market major indexes mostly closed higher today, as investors shifted their focus to first-quarter corporate earnings reports rather than the uncertainty brought by the fragile ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran.

The London FTSE 100 index fell 144.82 points or 1.40%, closing at 10219.11 points.

The Frankfurt DAX index rose 410.43 points or 1.71%, closing at 24401.7 points.
