The Ministry of Economic Affairs pointed out in a press release that in this competition, Genexine Biomedical won first place globally in the Health Tech category and will continue to compete for the cross-domain global startup champion. In defense technology, Black Solution won second place globally, Won Energy Technology also won second place globally in energy technology, and in open technology, Union Intelligent Biomedical and Zelong Intelligent won second and third place globally, respectively.
Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-Hsin, when interacting with startup teams before the competition, stated that Taiwan has been the country with the most shortlisted teams in the SelectUSA startup competition for three consecutive years, demonstrating the long-term results of the government's promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship.
