(Central News Agency, Washington, May 5, comprehensive foreign report) U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit Beijing from May 14 to 15. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned today that no 'destabilizing' actions should be taken against Taiwan in the week before Trump's visit, and stated that Taiwan may be included in the Trump-Xi meeting agenda.

According to reports from AFP and Reuters, Rubio (Marco Rubio) said at a White House press conference: 'We don't need anything to happen that would destabilize Taiwan or the Indo-Pacific region, and I think that's good for both the United States and China.'

Rubio stated that Taiwan may become a topic of discussion when Trump (Donald Trump) meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping next week.
