(Central News Agency reporter Wu Sheng-hung Singapore 5th exclusive report) The Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore collaborated with Taipei Nanhu Elementary School Orchestra from Taiwan to hold concerts in Singapore this week. The performance by Nanhu Elementary School Orchestra attracted many people to stop and listen. The orchestra's teacher expressed hope that Singaporeans would witness the musical prowess demonstrated by Taiwanese students.

The Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore and Taipei Nanhu Elementary School Orchestra from Taiwan held concerts in Singapore on the 4th and 5th.

Taiwanese violinist Luo Jing-hong and Singaporean conductor Koh Kai Jie led the performance, inviting musicians Wang Tzu-wen and Wang Ya-fen to participate. The program covered classical masterpieces and modern adaptations, showcasing the results of cross-cultural musical cooperation through joint performances. Deputy Representative Wu Wen-ling to Singapore also attended related activities.

The second concert was held today at the National Library of Singapore. The concert program blended classical and modern styles, including the theme song from the anime "Demon Slayer" and the popular song "Golden," and featured several student soloists. Liang Yu-ching, head of the press section of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, and others attended.

Luo Jing-hong said in an interview with the Central News Agency this afternoon that the orchestra has performed overseas many times, and coming to Singapore this time, they hope to bring a diverse musical content from classical to popular to the local audience, allowing Singaporeans to see the wonderful musical talent displayed by Taiwanese students.

He pointed out that the atmosphere of this performance in Singapore was good and the audience responded enthusiastically. He believes that through such exchanges, students can not only have more interaction and understanding with local orchestras but also help them learn from each other and grow together.

A Singaporean citizen told the Central News Agency reporter that Taiwan's music scene has a wealth of talent, performing brilliantly in both classical and popular fields; being able to see a performance from Taiwan in Singapore, especially these students showing such wonderful performances at this stage, is admirable and encourages the children of Taiwan.
