The exhibition will open tomorrow at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.
The May Art Association stated in a press release that after 70 years of trials and tribulations, the association continues to develop steadily and vibrantly, demonstrating its profound artistic heritage and value. The May Art Association aims to research innovation and lead artistic trends. Its members are all active creators in the Taiwanese art scene. The 60 members each possess unique styles and expressive techniques, with diverse and rich creative aspects, covering various types of artistic concepts.
This exhibition will feature approximately 140 works, including oil paintings, mixed media, and acrylics. The participating May members span old, middle, and young generations and are distributed throughout Taiwan, presenting cross-generational and cross-regional creative styles. The May Art Association stated that in addition to continuously engaging in creation, most members also bear the mission of art education, making certain contributions and impacts on the development of Taiwanese art.
