Lienchiang County Magistrate Wang Chung-ming Announces Re-election Bid with Support from Chen Hsueh-sheng

Kuomintang (KMT) Lienchiang County Chapter Chairman Chen Hsueh-sheng expressed his support for Magistrate Wang Chung-ming''s re-election today via social media. Wang stated in an interview that he wishes to secure the best interests for Matsu by working closely with legislators. Although Wang had previously pledged to serve only one term to allow for younger leadership, he noted that the grooming process has been slower than expected. Facing administrative bottlenecks and fiscal challenges following potential amendments to the Revenue and Expenditure Allocation Act, Wang believes his extensive experience is necessary. He highlighted the upcoming completion of the second Matsu Distillery plant as a key factor for the county''s financial independence, projecting an eightfold increase in production capacity. Wang emphasized that his dedication to Matsu remains unchanged regardless of the party''s formal nomination process, and he continues to invite individuals from all backgrounds to join the county''s governance and prepare for future leadership.
