(Central News Agency, Taipei, 5th) Delta Electronics today announced on behalf of its subsidiary, Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, the acquisition of machinery and equipment from a non-related party, with a transaction amount of approximately 5.041 billion Japanese Yen.

The announcement stated that Delta Electronics (Thailand) (DET) acquired machinery and equipment from FUJI CORPORATION between April 16 and May 5 this year for operational use, with a cumulative transaction amount of approximately 5.041 billion Japanese Yen.

Delta Electronics Chairman Cheng Ping previously stated at an investor conference that due to the extremely rapid growth of AI, Delta Electronics' current production capacity is tight, and it is building factories in many places around the world. This includes Delta Electronics' Chongqing factory in China, which has just been completed, and some production capacity will be shifted to Central and Southern China. Thailand will also have 3 to 4 more factories, and a US factory is also under construction.

Delta Electronics' first-quarter revenue was NT$159.352 billion, a 1.39% decrease quarter-on-quarter but a 34% increase year-on-year, marking the second-highest in history. Net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$20.555 billion, an 18.6% increase quarter-on-quarter and a doubling compared to the same period last year.
