Major News on US-Iran War

Central News Agency

(Central News Agency, Dubai, 4th, Comprehensive Foreign Report) As the United States is expected to begin guiding ships through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz, the United Arab Emirates today strongly condemned the attack on a tanker belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company by Iranian drones in the said strait.

According to Agence France-Presse, the state-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) stated that two drones struck the MV Barakah tanker off the coast of Oman. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and the vessel was not carrying cargo at the time.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "Targeting commercial shipping and treating the Strait of Hormuz as a tool for economic coercion or blackmail demonstrates the piratical actions of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)."

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) had earlier reported that a vessel was hit by an unidentified flying object in the same waters late last night.

US President Donald Trump had previously announced that the US would begin guiding ships through the vital waterway of the Strait of Hormuz starting today.
