(Central News Agency reporter Lu Yan-tzu, Taipei, 4th) FinTechSpace today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with True Digital Park, Thailand's largest startup hub. In the future, through resource sharing, exchange activities, and market matching, this partnership will facilitate cooperation between Taiwanese and Thai startups and industries, and assist Taiwanese enterprises in expanding their layout in the Southeast Asian market.

During the global FinTech event Money20/20 Asia, FinTechSpace, guided by the Financial Supervisory Commission and established by the Financial Services Association, led 9 Taiwanese FinTech startups to Thailand for exchanges and visited the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) of Thailand to discuss digital transformation and FinTech applications.

FinTechSpace today issued a press release stating that to attract Taiwanese FinTech businesses to the Thai market, depa has proposed several concrete measures, including capital and tax support, procurement matching mechanisms, and field verification resources.

FinTechSpace stated that depa will provide startup teams with equity investment and financial subsidies of up to 5 million Thai Baht, coupled with capital gains tax exemptions and other related preferential policies; assist Taiwanese enterprises in being included in the "Thailand Digital Catalog," connecting with Thai government departments and smart city demands to improve market entry efficiency; and provide sandbox testing environments and up to three years of rent-free preferential policies in Thailand Digital Valley Park in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which will facilitate the verification of technologies such as AI governance, asset management, and transaction chip acceleration.

In addition to exchanges with the Thai government, FinTechSpace also formally signed an MOU with True Digital Park (TDPK), Thailand's largest startup hub. FinTechSpace stated that in the future, both parties will facilitate cooperation between Taiwanese and Thai startups and industries through resource sharing, exchange activities, and market matching, and assist Taiwanese enterprises in expanding their layout in the Southeast Asian market.

Furthermore, FinTechSpace explained that on April 20, it organized "Taiwan FinTech Day," which facilitated exchanges and matching between Taiwanese startups and local financial institutions and technology companies, and further initiated discussions on cooperation directions.

FinTechSpace stated that it will continue to promote international cooperation and exchanges, integrate the capabilities of Taiwanese FinTech enterprises, and work together to expand overseas markets. It will also strengthen its cooperation network with the ASEAN region through events such as 2026 Fintech Taipei and the Singapore FinTech Festival.

FinTechSpace explained that Thailand will become a crucial hub for Taiwan's FinTech expansion into the ASEAN market and linkage with the international community. It will continue to assist enterprises in grasping international trends, promoting overseas cooperation opportunities, and further enhancing Taiwan's FinTech international visibility and influence.
