(Central News Agency reporter Chao Ching-yu, Taipei, May 4) The 2026 "MUZIKids Children's Classical Music Festival" is about to debut in September, with a total of 6 programs and 18 performances. Among them, the "Baby Concert" held in the main performance hall of the Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center has expanded the number of tickets for its "Baby Sway Zone," becoming a focus for parents vying for tickets.

According to news released by the classical music media MUZIK, this year's festival program design continues to adhere to the principle of "concentrated attention" with each performance not exceeding 1 hour, a "don't be afraid to cry" policy allowing entry and exit from seats at any time, and friendly "storyteller interactions" by performers, providing a completely stress-free listening environment for families.

This year's festival includes the most popular "Baby's Symphony 2" concert, where conductor Chang Yin-fang personally selects suitable pieces and director Chen Shih-hsien designs interactive segments, allowing babies aged 0 to 3 to listen to the symphony with their parents. The "Baby Sway Zone," which was difficult to get tickets for last year, will expand its capacity this year, hoping to allow more parents to create memories of swaying with their babies to the music.

Sun Chia-tsung, Chairman of classical music media MUZIK, stated at today's press conference that over the past three years, MUZIKids has focused on the aesthetic education of the next generation and also responds to the ESG issue of sustainability. This year's program "Animal Tycoon" combines local endemic or subspecies animals from Taiwan, such as clouded leopards and black bears, with the classical music masterpiece "Carnival of the Animals," allowing children to learn about their environment while listening to music.

This year, "Mitte Animal Park" will debut in the main performance hall, presenting the "Queen of Moonlight: Moon Lady's Dream" concert, where children will embark on an adventure with rabbits, foxes, tigers, and lions to explore the mystery of the Moon Lady's identity. The Twinkle Ancient Music Ensemble will present "The Moon Legend of El Formosa," recreating instrumental performances from Taiwan and Europe at that time.

Pianist Youtuber "Teacher Jiang" will launch "The Treasure That Can Be Gained from Practicing Piano," starting from her own experience of practicing piano with her son, bringing out the hidden hardships of learning music and the sense of accomplishment of completing a performance. "Duwa Duwa. Listen to Jazz" invites trumpeter Wei Kuang-hao to plan, leading children to understand important periods and styles of jazz music, and feel the energy of jazz in the "Duwa Duwa" harmonies.

This year's music festival partners include YAMAHA, which continues to provide public pianos for children's first contact; the Ministry of Education's "Instrument Bank" will participate in the on-site market, leading children to touch and experience orchestral instruments. The "Lunchtime Concert" will also create a comfortable and relaxing listening environment. The 2026 "MUZIKids Children's Classical Music Festival" will be performed from September 25 to 27 at the Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center. (Editor: Lee Hen-shan) 1150504
