The Tainan City Government issued a press release stating that Huang Wei-che today walked into the event venue at Hanabatake Square in central Kumamoto City, personally visited stalls, interacted with the public, and introduced Tainan's cuisine and agricultural products, hoping to make Tainan's characteristics visible and experienced in the local living areas.

Huang Wei-che stated that Tainan and Japan have had close interactions for a long time, with a good foundation in tourism, agriculture, and industry. Through this Taiwan Festival event, Tainan's Yanshui "Moon Art Museum" lanterns, as well as its cuisine and culture, are brought into central Kumamoto City, which not only allows Japanese people to get closer to and understand Tainan but also helps enhance the visibility of Tainan's agricultural products in the Japanese market.

The Tainan City Government added that in addition to participating in the Taiwan Festival event, Huang Wei-che's itinerary also involved exchanges with local governments, enterprises, and relevant units to further deepen the cooperative relationship between Tainan and the Kyushu region of Japan. From interacting with the public at the event venue to banquet exchanges and mutual visits between cities, both sides demonstrated a friendly and pragmatic foundation for cooperation.

The city government stated that in the future, it will continue to promote the expansion of Tainan's agricultural products into overseas markets through direct flights between Tainan and Kumamoto and various exchange platforms, while also deepening tourism and industrial cooperation.
