(Central News Agency reporter Hung Su-li, Taipei, 3rd) Taiwanese girl group HUR+ has made its mark on international streaming music platforms. In addition to having their giant LED screen billboard in New York's Times Square, they also performed at a Thai idol festival recently, competing on the same stage with girl groups from around the world.

Girl group HUR+ originated from a talent show. Initially, it was composed of 6 members: Li Shan-zhen, Pei Chieh, C.Holly, Lien Ying, Ba Lun-yue, and Hsi Tzu-chi, forming HUR. Later, they participated in "NEXT GIRLZ," adding three new members, Tong Kai-ling, Lin Shih-ya, and Xiang Lan, officially upgrading to a 9-member lineup.

From 6 to 9 members, HUR+ not only expanded its numbers but also simultaneously upgraded its overall singing and dancing intensity and stage ambition, gradually building its own girl group universe.

HUR+ became the first Chinese-speaking girl group to be selected as a Spotify EQUAL ambassador. They even appeared on a giant LED screen in New York's Times Square, nearly 25 stories high and covering an area of 1081 square meters, symbolizing the official entry of Taiwanese girl groups onto the world stage, making fans ecstatic and exclaiming, "Pride of Taiwan! So proud!"

HUR+ continues to expand its stage presence overseas. They traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, on April 25th and 26th to participate in an idol festival, competing with girl groups from China, Japan, and Thailand. HUR+ showcased its full charm and continues to let the world see the energy of Taiwanese girl groups through music and stage performances. (Editor: Chen Jen-hua) 1150503
