Taipei MRT explained that around 9 AM, on a train heading from Yongning to Dingpu, a passenger used the intercom to report a shattered compartment partition. The station master at Dingpu immediately boarded the train to confirm the situation. No one was injured on site, and the control center guided passengers to transfer to a train on the opposite platform according to standard operating procedures.

Taipei MRT stated that the partition is safety glass. Preliminary inspection indicates that the cause of the breakage was uneven stress due to environmental temperature changes or long-term use scratches, causing it to shatter into small pieces.
