Today is the last day of the Labor Day holiday. As of 6 PM, there are still scattered congested sections on national highways. The Freeway Bureau stated that as of 5 PM, the national highway traffic volume was 68.9 million vehicle-kilometers, which is within the expected range.

According to real-time national highway conditions, scattered sections were still congested as of 6 PM, including National Highway No. 1 between Zhubei and Hukou, and National Highway No. 3 between Hsinchu System and Baoshan.

The Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications issued a press release today stating that congested sections on national highways in the afternoon included National Highway No. 1 northbound from Hsinchu to Hukou, National Highway No. 3 northbound from Gaoyuan to Daxi, and National Highway No. 5 northbound from Yilan to Pinglin, with other sections generally flowing smoothly.

The Freeway Bureau said that as of 5 PM, the national highway traffic volume was 68.9 million vehicle-kilometers, and the estimated traffic volume for today is 110 million vehicle-kilometers, still within the expected range.
