As long as the building meets the conditions for completed registration and submits an application before November 30th this year, the maximum subsidy amount is NT$70,000.
Kaohsiung City's Public Works Bureau today issued a press release stating that it announced a subsidy program in March last year to encourage existing apartment buildings of 6 stories and above to establish management organizations, and this year it will continue to implement it.
The Public Works Bureau pointed out that the current subsidy target is existing apartment buildings of 6 stories and above that obtained building permits before June 28, 1995, and must be establishing their management organization for the first time and have completed registration.
As long as the building completes registration with its district office for the first time between January 1, 2025, and November 30, 2026, and submits an application before November 30, 2026, the maximum subsidy amount can reach NT$70,000.
The Public Works Bureau stated that the city government has announced the "2026 Kaohsiung City Subsidy Implementation Plan for First-Time Establishment of Management Organizations in Existing Buildings 6 Stories and Above." The subsidy amount will be approved based on the building's total number of households. Application documents and related regulations can be inquired and downloaded from the Public Works Bureau's Building Administration Office website in the public announcements section.
