The Taiwan representative team, comprising about 126 students, competed and exchanged ideas with top talents from around the world, winning multiple awards including the Innovation Award, Invention Award, and Best Design Award.

The "2026 VEX Robotics World Championship" was held from April 21 to 30 in St. Louis. The Taiwan representative team consisted of 9 high school teams, 5 junior high teams, and 3 elementary school teams.

This grand event gathered top teams from all over the world, with participants ranging from elementary school students, junior high school students, high school students, to university students.

In the junior high school category, Taiwan's Happy Hippo team won the Mathematics Division Runner-up and the Innovation Award. "Fancy Robotics International," the leading unit, pointed out on social media that this Innovation Award not only affirms the robot design but also proves the team's capabilities in engineering logic, structural innovation, and system integration.

In addition, the EdgeWalker team, belonging to "Curious X-Lab," won the Junior High School Best Design Award. The Elite team from "Dr. Player Robotic Lab" won the Group Challenge Season Champion in the Opportunity Division; the Electric Bear team from Taiwan Robotics Lab won the Surprise Award in the Opportunity Division.

In the high school category, the JOINUS team from "Curious X-Lab" won the High School Division Best Design Award. "Curious X-Lab" also stated on social media that the judges mentioned the team's engineering notebook demonstrated extreme rigor, clearly documenting every detail from robot design iteration to game strategy development. They also demonstrated excellent teamwork during the interview process.

The Unicorn Puncher team from "Dr. Player Robotic Lab" also won the Invention Award in the Spirit Division of the high school category.

In the elementary school category, the senior group from CHINHSHIN ACADEMY won the Group Challenge Season Champion in the Science Division.
