The Directorate General of Highways issued a press release stating that as of 4 PM, some sections of provincial highways and expressways experienced heavy traffic or congestion, including the westbound section of Provincial Highway 2 from Fulong to Longmen Bridge and the northbound section of Provincial Highway 15 from Bali to Guandu Bridge. It urged road users to check traffic conditions before departing and drive carefully, and to make more use of public transportation.
The Directorate General of Highways stated that it expects traffic to surge tomorrow morning on some major provincial highways, national highway connection sections, and roads around tourist attractions. The Directorate General of Highways suggests that road users can check real-time traffic conditions on the Happiness Highway APP before traveling, avoid peak hours and sections, or follow traffic information and alternative route information provided by the Police Radio Station and roadside CMS.
