Education Bureau Director Tsai Shu-chen told the Central News Agency reporter that Hsinchu County is gradually establishing an AI teacher training system, such as designing courses that utilize ChatGPT, to alleviate teachers' anxiety about new technologies and explore diverse possibilities of applying AI in teaching design.
She stated that, in addition, "iPad x AI" practical field studies and lesson preparations have been introduced from elementary school courses like English, music, and science to junior and senior high school social studies. Through the assistance of AI technological tools, learning effectiveness for students is enhanced, and teachers are helped to apply technology to optimize curriculum design and improve the quality of teaching interactions.
Tsai Shu-chen said that Hsinchu County's exclusive AI certification is also being simultaneously introduced. Currently, 111 teachers have passed in 3 sessions. In the future, through a gradual training layout from basic to advanced, Hsinchu County will promote advanced deployment of AI education, establishing a new paradigm for smart education.
