(Central News Agency, Detroit, May 30th, comprehensive foreign report) A senior official from the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) stated today that the Chinese government's 'hacker outsourcing' ecosystem has become 'out of control' and provides 'a plausible deniability' for cybercriminals. He warned that Chinese hackers risk arrest once they leave the country.

Reuters reported that 34-year-old Chinese national Xu Zewei was recently extradited from Italy to the United States for trial. He is accused of participating in large-scale hacking operations at the direction of the Chinese government while working for Chinese contractors in 2020 and 2021.

Xu Zewei was arrested in Milan, Italy, last July and was sent to the United States after an Italian court approved his extradition.

FBI Assistant Director Brett Leatherman stated that the 'protection Chinese hackers receive within China does not exist once they cross borders.'
