Pingtung County Government this year for the first time organized the 'Friendly Workplace Excellent Enterprise' selection, evaluating it across five major aspects: friendly measures for persons with disabilities, support for middle-aged and older employment, promotion of gender equality, implementation of occupational safety and health, and youth-friendly workplaces. The selection examined enterprises' performance in systems and practices, and selected exemplary benchmark enterprises. The award ceremony was held today at the Pingtung Digital Youth Startup Center.

Chou Chun-Mi attended the ceremony and stated that with the continuous transformation of industrial types and employment structures, enterprises' role in shaping the workplace environment is increasingly critical. A friendly workplace is not just about institutional construction, but also the implementation of culture and values. Award-winning enterprises demonstrated actions beyond legal requirements in various aspects. Tatung Precision Industry Co., Ltd. won the 'You Xing Hao Ping Award,' with a female executive ratio reaching 35%, and women serving as the labor union chairperson and the chief commissioner of the Labor Retirement Reserve Fund Supervisory Committee, showcasing achievements in implementing gender equality.

Chou Chun-Mi pointed out that China Steel Chemical Corporation won the 'You An Hao Ping Award,' for introducing a smart inspection system that combines electronic maps and fall detection mechanisms, significantly enhancing the efficiency of on-site safety management. Global Shopping Center Co., Ltd. Pingtung Branch, with its comprehensive training and career development system, created a youth-friendly workplace environment, encouraging young people to stable employment and continuous growth.

Taiwan YAZAKI Corporation shared that enterprise safety culture must be implemented from top to bottom, and through education and practical experience, employees truly understand and internalize safety awareness, forming consistent action standards. Hsinlo Foods Co., Ltd. noted that the company employs middle-aged and older talents, with the proportion of employees over 50 years old currently reaching 30%. Through experience transfer and safety management mechanisms, they have created a stable and resilient work team.

Pingtung County Labor and Youth Development Department's press release stated that the 'We Are Always Here – Building a Friendly Workplace | Action Experience Exhibition' also opened today, on the 1st floor of the Pingtung Digital Youth Startup Center, and will run until July 4th.
