(Central News Agency reporter Chang Jung-hsiang, Tainan, 1st) The handover ceremony for National Cheng Kung University Hospital's new and outgoing presidents was held today at the International Conference Hall of National Cheng Kung University's Kuang-fu Campus. Former Vice President Hsu Keng-fu took over as the new president.

Under the supervision and oath-taking by NCKU President Shen Meng-ju, Hsu Keng-fu today received the seal of office from outgoing President Lee Ching-wei and was sworn in as the President of NCKU Hospital. He stated that NCKU Hospital is at a critical juncture for development and also faces multiple challenges. He will work closely with NCKU and the College of Medicine to move towards specialization, intelligence, and internationalization.

Hsu Keng-fu said that the future core governance of NCKU Hospital includes promoting the establishment of an elderly hospital and the Shalun Health Park, improving the nursing work environment and retaining professional talent, cultivating middle-generation and new-generation talent, continuously investing in academic research, strengthening operational management, and ensuring the fulfillment of social responsibility and value.

NCKU Hospital explained that Hsu Keng-fu graduated from Chung Shan Medical University with a degree in medicine and obtained a Ph.D. from NCKU's Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine. He specializes in laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy, gynecological tumor surgery, and gynecological cancer treatment.
