(Central News Agency reporter Chen Chih-chung, Taipei, 1st) The Ministry of Education today opened online registration until the 21st for "Lifelong Learning Vouchers," which can offset up to NT$1500 in tuition fees, and "Museum Passes," which allow unlimited visits to 11 social education facilities. Winners are expected to be notified via SMS on the 22nd.

People can register on the "Lifelong Learning Resources Platform" before the 21st, and the list of winners is expected to be announced on the 22nd, with SMS notifications sent.

The Ministry of Education first promoted the "Lifelong Learning Voucher" system last year, allowing citizens aged 6 or above with Republic of China nationality and a unified ID number to apply. This year, the quota has increased threefold. In addition to offsetting tuition fees for community universities or senior universities, it can also be used for open universities and "30+" universities.

The Ministry of Education plans to draw 36,000 new student vouchers, which can offset NT$1500 in tuition fees for lifelong education institutions; and 18,000 existing student vouchers, which can offset NT$1000, limited to institutions they have previously registered with.

In addition, 20,000 "Museum Passes" are expected to be drawn. Winners can freely visit the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, National Museum of Natural Science, National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, National Taiwan Science Education Center, National Science and Technology Museum, National Museum of History, National Taiwan Museum, National Museum of Taiwan History, National Railway Museum Preparatory Office, National Museum of Prehistory (including Nanke Archeological Museum), and National Center for Traditional Arts from July 1 this year to June 30, 2027.
