CENTRAL NEWS AGENCY

(CNA reporter Yu Hsiao-lan, Taipei, 30th) Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) announced today that it will launch an "Eco-Friendly Group Bento Delivery" service in Taipei and New Taipei, offering a one-stop service including dedicated delivery and subsequent recycling of bento boxes for consumers within the delivery range.

In response to the Ministry of Environment's policy on reducing single-use products at the source and practicing net-zero green living, TRA issued a press release today stating that it is launching the "Eco-Friendly Group Bento Delivery" service in the Taipei and New Taipei areas, providing a new option for group orders through professional logistics, bento box recycling, and a strict cleaning mechanism.

TRA pointed out that this service is jointly promoted by the Ministry of Environment and Xunshi Co., Ltd., targeting the needs of groups during lunchtime. It aims to solve the inconvenience of picking up and returning reusable containers in the past. Consumers only need to place an order through a dedicated ordering website. For orders of 30 or more, with a delivery address within a 25-minute drive from Taipei Main Station, they can enjoy a one-stop service including dedicated delivery and subsequent recycling of bento boxes.

Regarding the meal content, TRA said it offers three classic TRA bento flavors: "Pork Chop," "Chicken Leg," and "Vegetarian Bean Curd," all at a uniform price of NT$120. (Edited by Li Hsi-chang) 1150430
