(Central News Agency reporter Chiang Ming-Yen, Taipei, 30th) The Taiwan stock market opened higher but fluctuated today, eventually closing at its lowest point of the day at 38926.63 points, down 376.87 points. However, in April, the Taiwan stock market surged by 7203.64 points, marking the strongest monthly gain in history.
