Foxconn stated that the company itself was not involved, and Foxconn is cooperating with the relevant investigation work, with operations remaining normal.

The New Taipei District Prosecutors Office today directed the Investigation Bureau's Taipei Investigation Division to search Foxconn's Tucheng plant and the residences of relevant personnel. Two defendants and one witness were brought in on suspicion of supervisors receiving kickbacks from vendors, with the highest-ranking individual being a department head.

Foxconn announced in the evening that the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office and the Investigation Bureau's Taipei Investigation Division had visited the Tucheng plant today to search specific employees. The company itself was not involved, and the company is cooperating with the relevant investigation work.
